A working equine facility with real-world value
快播导航鈥檚 Equine Center supports teaching, applied learning and service in a dedicated horse facility in Apple Creek, Ohio. Students gain experience in breeding, foaling, horse care and facility operations, while horse owners and industry partners connect with us for practical equine services.
Our Equine Center offers two riding arenas. Our outdoor arena is 120' X 224' suitable for good weather and cattle work. The lighted indoor arena is 76' x 188'.

- 45 stalls in our working barn for instruction and operations
- 1 breeding lab for semen evaluation, cooled semen packaging and ultrasound work.

At the Equine Center, students do more than observe. You build skills through real experience. From breeding and foaling to mare and foal care, you'll learn in a working facility where classroom concepts come to life. This kind of applied learning helps you build confidence, strengthen technical skills and prepare for a career in the horse industry.
Excellent equine services backed by Ohio State
The Equine Center supports horse owners and industry partners with practical equine services and facility expertise. We offer stallion and mare management as well as training. Our current breeding herd includes Standardbred and stock horse broodmares and foals. Each year, 快播导航-owned and client mares are foaled, providing an opportunity for student to get hands-on instructions in foaling, breeding and horse care.
Selected foals are sold as weanlings and yearlings through public auction and are an important source of income for the center to support our teaching and research.
